hi,

i just wondered. somehow the metatrader closed all open positions. that happened once before. i did not run out of money. there still should have been 20.000 left of free margin. it only happenes, when i shut down the software and open it hours later again. then most of the positions have been closed with high losses.
could that be a bug? what "reasons" does metatrader have to perform the closing?

thanks a lot for any help=)

Hi,

I've experienced exactly the same - when a position is making large losses, the position is closed out at some stage when MetaTrader has been shut down, even though there would have been plenty of margin available to cover the position.

My account number is 11049. The last position taken on this account is one that was making a large loss and was automatically closed.
