Hi Metaquotes,

I've noticed that in MetaTrader 4, the format of the "export" data date field has changed. In MetaTrader 3, this used to be dd.mm.yy but MetaTrader 4 now exports this field as yy.mm.dd.

Could you please confirm that this is either a bug or that this is going to be the standard from now on? A lot of my experts rely on this field so if the format changes occasionally between versions of MetaTrader, I could run into serious problems when actually trading....

Thanks for your quick response.

I've got no problems writing the script - the thing that concerns me is whether the format will get changed again at some point (i.e. when doing an update) and all of a sudden, my LIVE scripts stop working.... Are you able to confirm that the format that the data is now delivered in, will stay this way in the short to medium term?
