Hello,
I have a question regarding the changes to the fractal modeling of ticks that was released with bld 200. In the release it says: "Tester: Imrpoved fractal modeling of a bar. Now more smoothed patterns are used to model price movements;" Can you explain more about this improvement? Does it take place only during the generation of the FXT file, or is there a change in the strategy tester algorithm that reads in the generated ticks? Thanks, CS |

It is concern of ticks generation only

It is concern of ticks generation only Hi Slawa, To further confirm: If I have a generated FXT file from the tick logger script (updated for the new header info that is in bld 200), metatrader will read that FXT file in order - meaning, it won't do any smoothing of the ticks that come out of the FXT file. Is that correct? Thank you again for all of your help! Cheers, CS |

Yes, it's correct. Real ticks collecting is a bit better than modelling.
