Updates upgrade to my USB drive fine. There was an issue where the MetaQuote guys upgraded the LiveUpdate in v167 that requires a manual download of the latest version - was this maybe involved ?

Perhaps the live update also requires certain free space which you may not have had ?

Yip, I was using the LiveUpdate and that did not work.

I have plenty of space on the USB key (512M).

I downloaded the new version and installed it on the key. That seems to have worked, even overwritting.
