Release Notes: MetaTrader 4

The new version provides the following changes:

1. Improved Market security system. Now, in order to run the product, the user must be authorized in the platform with the same MQL5 account via which the product was purchased. The account must be specified under the Tools \ Options \ Community section:

   
   
   

   
   If no account or an invalid account is specified, the product will not start, and the following message will be printed in the platform journal:
   
   'ProductName' requires active MQL5 account in Tools->Options->Community
   
2. Updated user interface translations.
3. Fixed errors reported in crash logs.

The new version provides the following changes:

• The minimum supported desktop client terminal version has been increased to 1340. Older terminals will not be able to connect to updated broker servers.
• General fixes and platform stability improvements.
• Error fixes based on crash reports.

The new version provides the following changes:

1. We have significantly optimized platform operation under Wine on macOS and Linux:
   
   
   • Fixed display of emails, news, chats, as well as of Signals and Market sections.
   • Fixed refreshing of "Navigator" contents in MetaEditor.
     
   • Improved display of icons on the toolbar.
   • Fixed chart print commands.
   • Fixed One Click Trading panel display.
   
   
2. Updated DMG package for easy MetaTrader 4 installation on macOS computers. With this package, the platform can be installed similarly to any other application: drag the platform icon to Applications and wait for the installation to complete.
   
   The updated package includes additional components enabling more stable and faster operation. All package users are strongly advised to reinstall MetaTrader 4 by downloading the latest version from https://download.terminal.free/cdn/web/metaquotes.software.corp/mt4/MetaTrader4.pkg.zip

1. Fixed occasional slowdown caused by operations with a large number of graphical objects from MQL4 programs.

MetaTrader 4 build 1210:

1. Optimized "Market" and "Signals" section. In the new version, the product and signal showcases run faster and thus provide a better browsing experience.
2. Added support for "Market", "Signals" and "Search" in Wine. Linux and Mac OS users can now access the largest store of trading applications along with the copy trading service.
3. Improved search for access points when connecting to broker servers.
4. Updated and improved interface translations. We have revised each of the 38 available languages to provide traders with a seamless user experience.
5. Fixed errors reported in crash logs.

1. Multiple improvements and fixes.
